Supplier of UltraHigh Accuracy Coordinate Measuring Machines and Ultrasonic Scanners!
Home Page
ResourceEngineering, Inc. (REI) was incorporated in 1993, with the purpose of designing and building precision positioning systems to be used in several applications across a multitude of industries. The core group of personnel representing REI bring over 60 years of experience in the engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation and sustaining of precision multi-axis (10 Axes+) positioning systems used in the Metrology and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industries. This extensive experience has culminated in the development of the most advanced Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Ultrasonic Scanning Systems in the world today.
Resource Engineering’s philosophy of innovation in machine design and the use of Advanced Materials Technology will provide our customers with substantially better systems, in terms of performance and reliability, than were previously possible. To date, Resource Engineering is the only company to successfully exploit the enormous benefits of large-scale use of Invar36 and Ultra-High Modulus (UHM) Carbonfiber (exotic materials possessing near zero coefficient of thermal expansion) in Coordinate Measuring Machine structures and guideways, bringing new levels of accuracy to the shop floor.
Our Patented, #6,202,316 CARBINVAR(UHM Carbonfiber and Invar36) composite guideway structure has advanced the art of producing UltraHigh Accuracy Coordinate Measuring Machines and other precision positioning systems and allow these systems to operate at those levels of accuracy on the shop floor and outside of the Metrology or Laboratory Environment!
In 1996 REI developed the first Alumina Ceramic search Tubes for use in Ultrasonic Immersion Systems, a vast improvement over conventional Stainless steel designs. Many advances in machine design, precision guideway technology, high-energy air bearings and advanced motion control systems have also been developed at REI.
Worldwide there has been an accelerating trend to have machines run faster and more reliably with higher performance, at lower cost – and to have new designs reflecting these product requirements in a shorter product development cycle. The key personnel at Resource Engineering correctly gauged this trend and successfully exploited its evolution. Resource Engineering brought into the precision positioning industry new approaches to old problems. While our design approaches may be revolutionary, the application of them has been fundamental and resulted in extremely valuable proprietary technology producing very accurate and highly reliable systems.
Our mission is to deliver the best possible product to our customers where the results of measurement are respected and not debated and to develop a long standing and mutually beneficial relationship built on trust and mutual respect.
